AgeGuide serves Northeastern Illinois, which includes the collar counties of Cook and Suburban Cook. We have a variety of different landscapes including Lake Michigan, more urban cities, and expansive farmland.
Our counties are not only diverse in their geography but also in the people AgeGuide serves. We support older adults of various ethnicities and languages throughout the region.

Programs
A Matter of Balance
This program teaches older adults how to reduce fall risks and eases their fear of falling. It improves fall self-management, increases self-confidence, promotes physical activity, and helps reduce isolation and depression. Call AgeGuide for dates and locations near you.
Bingocize
Bingocize combines a bingo-style game with physical exercise and health education. It helps improve functional fitness, health knowledge, and social engagement. Contact AgeGuide for program availability in your area.
Fit and Strong!
A multiple-component exercise program designed to help older adults manage pain and stiffness, improve confidence, and increase daily physical activity. Especially beneficial for those with lower extremity Osteoarthritis. Contact AgeGuide for more information.
Healthy Steps in Motion
Designed for all fitness levels, this eight-week, twice-weekly program includes warm-up, strength and balance exercises, and a cool-down. Taught by certified instructors. Contact AgeGuide to learn more.
Tai Chi for Arthritis
A slow, enjoyable, and easy-to-learn exercise that improves balance, reduces pain, and enhances mental and physical well-being. Based on principles like fluid movement and mental focus. Contact AgeGuide for local sessions and times.
