The essential principles of Tai Chi encompass mind-body integration, controlled breathing, and mental concentration, making it one of the most effective exercises for both physical and mental well-being. Experience the relaxation and upliftment that comes from practicing Tai Chi.
Tai Chi for Arthritis and Fall Prevention was developed by Dr. Paul Lam at the Tai Chi for Health Institute (TCHI), and all sessions are led by certified TCHI instructors.
Join us for 1 hour per week for 16 weeks or twice per week for 8 weeks. Classes are available face-to-face or online via Zoom (with technical assistance provided before the workshop begins).

Each session includes:
- Warm-up and cool down exercises

Who should take the class
This program is specifically designed for older adults aged 60 and over, including those:
- With or without arthritis, rheumatic diseases, or related musculoskeletal conditions
- Experiencing mild, moderate, or severe joint involvement and back pain
- At higher risk of falling, even without arthritis
Family and friends are also welcome! Bring your spouse or significant other along for a shared experience.
