Walk With Ease helps reduce pain and enhance balance, strength, and overall health while motivating participants to walk safely and comfortably. Whether through a self-guided course or in a community setting, participants can choose the format that best fits their needs.
About the class
Step into a healthier, more active lifestyle with the Walk With Ease program! Specifically designed for adults with arthritis, this program offers a pathway to reduced pain, improved balance, and enhanced overall well-being. Choose between a self-guided course or a supportive community setting—whichever suits you best.
Over the course of 6 weeks, you’ll engage in 3 one-hour sessions each week—totaling 18 sessions of transformative walking and learning. Choose the format that best fits your lifestyle:
- Group Sessions: Join an in-person group for all 18 sessions, where you’ll receive guidance and motivation from a dedicated instructor.
- Self-Directed: Prefer to go at your own pace? Utilize the Walk With Ease Guidebook to complete the program independently.
- Self-Directed Enhanced: Start and finish the program with a supportive group, encouraging each other throughout the six-week journey.
Throughout the program, you will explore a range of essential topics, including:
